Scanbox and Nenda pair up to make Near Cinema Movies available for Hotel Guests

Stockholm, Copenhagen 3 December 2019, Nenda and Scanbox have now entered a new agreement regarding the distribution rights for an outstanding portfolio of near cinema movies. With a goal to update the current TV infrastructure in hotels and introduce TV streaming for the hotel industry, Nenda will now be able to provide timeless Hollywood classics along with fresh near cinema releases. The content will be distributed via Nenda’s innovative streaming platform to hotels and care companies, thus providing direct competition to today’s linear TV experience.

The partnership with Scanbox is a part of our strategy to offer a ‘better than home’ TV experience in hotels across the Nordic region. The films from Scanbox will be made available on-demand and delivered with several language and subtitle options for the entire Nordic region. Being a completely cloud-based streaming service, Nenda gives its users the option to easily switch between different languages and subtitles within the app UI. This feature is of great value to the hotel industry due to their diverse international clientele.
