Nenda announces agreement for use of WarnerMedia kids and CNN content in the Nordic region
Nenda has signed a distribution deal for WarnerMedia kids content and CNN news from WarnerMedia’s portfolio of iconic entertainment, news and sports brands. The new content will initially roll out in the Nordics and then be available via Nenda in other EMEA countries.
The agreement, concluded through CNN International Commercial, increases the content mix available to hotels, restaurants, care facilities and offices through Nenda’s streaming service. It includes leading global news channel CNN International and first-class kids entertainment from Cartoon Network, with more than 750 episodes from much-loved shows including well-known titles such as Adventure Time, The Amazing World of Gumball and Craig of the Creek. The kids content is available in Danish, English, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish, enabling Nenda to cater for facilities with a large number of international visitors. With Nenda being highly customizable, guests can easily tailor their TV entertainment for their family’s needs.
“We look forward to CNN and WarnerMedia’s kids content being part of Nenda’s offering to the B2B market. Through this partnership and the expansion of our Out of Home offering, more people will be able to watch WarnerMedia content in a variety of places from hotels to office spaces”, says Rachelle Peterson, Director of Commercial Distribution for CNN International Commercial.
“This new agreement with CNNIC for use of CNN news and WarnerMedia kids content gives us the opportunity to offer our customers even more customized children’s entertainment, but also the leading news channel CNN. We are very proud of the collaboration with WarnerMedia; it allows us to further expand our content portfolio and offer broader entertainment options to our customers and their facilities”, says Anders Hässel, CEO and co-founder of Nenda.
